Mark Ragonese

These installations are based loosely on a  Himalayan tradition of  prayer flags. We dye cloth and make beautiful flags, embellish them with handmade wooden stamps and invite the community to write their most important wishes on them. The project has an accompanying story about hope, wind horses, and believing in impossible things. The final product is a space filled with color, life, hope, and possibility. Inspirational. The process is delightful and magical and transformational turning simple materials into conveyors of our hopes and dreams.
